Choose the right format

• HTML: a self-contained guide with embedded screenshots, a table of contents and search. Useful when the recipient should open and read a portable guide.
• Markdown: editable documentation for your own writing or documentation workflow.
• DOCX: a Word document for editing, reviewing and distributing in a document workflow.

Export the guide

1. Finish the step titles, descriptions and screenshot edits.
2. Review sensitive text and screenshots.
3. Choose Export and the format you need.
4. Save to the chosen destination and inspect the output before sharing.

Keep the editable original

Save the guide in the app when you expect to revise it. An exported document is a handoff format; keeping the editable guide makes later changes easier.
