From your first capture to a useful handoff.

Local files and privacy

Understand what stays on the computer and when downloads are needed.

By Tristan Cuello·Local processing

The core workflow runs locally

Screen capture, step guides, video recording, OCR, transcription and search run on your computer. Recordings and searchable artifacts are kept in local recording folders.

Models may need an initial download

Transcription and optional local summaries use model files. Missing model files may need to be downloaded first. Downloading a model is different from uploading your recording for processing.

You choose the handoff

Exporting a clip, guide or archive creates files you can choose to share. Inspect what the export contains before sending it to someone else.

Purchase and website services are separate

This website does not collect payment. Future checkout and activation workflows can have their own online requirements. The local-processing claim refers to the app’s recording and search functions, not to every future commercial interaction.
