Start with a completed transcript
Local summary generation requires transcript segments. Finish audio-transcript enrichment first, then use the library’s summary actions.
Prepare the local model
The settings workspace provides Install Local Summary Model. The model is a separate download. Once present, summary processing runs locally without uploading the transcript for summarization.
Create or queue a summary
Use Summarize for a selected recording or the persistent summary queue for eligible recordings. The app supports cancellation and opening an existing completed summary.
Return to the evidence
Completed summaries are saved as timestamp-cited Markdown and JSON beside the recording. Use the cited moments to check the summary against the transcript and video.
Summary content is generated and can be incomplete or inaccurate. This optional capability is not demonstrated in the product film.
