Review before sharing

A screenshot can include names, account details or other information that is unrelated to the instruction. Inspect every step, especially when documenting an administrative or customer-facing workflow.

Use screenshot protection

  • Regional blur: select the part of the screenshot that needs to be hidden.
  • Whole-screenshot blur: obscure the entire image when a step needs to retain its written explanation.
  • OCR-assisted masking: detect sensitive values in screenshot text and apply the available masking workflow.
  • Restore and undo: restore a selected region or undo image edits while refining the screenshot.

Check the written instructions too

The whole-guide sensitive-text review helps find private values in the guide’s written content. Review any suggestions and inspect the exported result.

Automatic detection is an aid, not a guarantee that every sensitive value has been found. These controls describe screenshot guides; they are not a claim of automatic video redaction.
